Key Points When fitting your Moocall Unit: Do not over tighten ratchet system, this device is being attached to part of an animal. Over-tightening could cause circulation to be cut off to the tail and possible damage to the cows tail. If cow has not calved within four days of attaching the unit to the tail please remove unit for 3 – 4 hours before reattaching again to avoid discomfort to the animal. If powering off please allow 5 minutes before powering unit back on. Test your devices network connection by double clicking the power button. This will make the indicator light flash green, the device will test itself and connect to our servers. You will then receive a test sms message to say all is working correctly. Always test your device before using it. Fitting Step 1: To unlock ratchet system press paddle all the way to the left. Fitting Step 2: To tighten ratchet system, insert strap into unit and repetitively move ratchet paddle from right to left until the unit is firmly on the cows tail. The Annual Charge: • Much like a mobile phone, each Moocall calving sensor has an annual running cost associated with it. • Once you activate your calving sensor, 12 months of service, support and SMS text messages are included in the original purchase price. • After 12 months there is an annual charge of £109 (+ VAT) to keep your sensor operational. This is discounted by 10% if you own more than 1 calving sensor. • This gives you a further year of unlimited usage, unlimited SMS messages, support and software updates. • This is an optional payment, if you decide not to continue using your sensor, then you won’t have to pay. • We will contact you for payment via sms, email and phone when your device is due for renewal. We do NOT keep any payment details on file and we will NOT automatically charge you.
