The smaller size of the feed compaired to layers pellets means the bird takes longer to consume making it ideal for chickens that have a tendency to over pluck as it keeps them occupied. Spillers Layers Meal can be fed dry, or soaked in either cold or warm water to form a porridge-like mash.
