Curazole 5% W/W PREMIX FOR MEDICATED FEED 

 

Presentation 
A fine white powder containing 50g Fenbendazole per kg. 
Uses 

A broad spectrum anthelmintic for control of benzimidazole susceptible mature and developing immature forms of the following nematodes of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts of pigs. For the treatment of pigs infected with: Hyostrongylus rubidus (red stomach worm); Oesophagostomum sp. (nodular worms); Ascaris suum (eel worm); Trichuris suis (whip worm); Metastrongylus apri (lungworm).

 
Dosage And Administration 

For oral administration after incorporation into complete feed for pigs. The recommended therapeutic dose is 5mg fenbendazole per kg bodyweight.

 
Pigs: The recommended therapeutic dose is 30mg of combined actives per kg bodyweight daily.

To allow thorough dispersion of the product, Curazole 5% W/W Premix for medicated feed should first be mixed with 20kg of feed before incorporating in the final feed.

Contra-Indications And Warnings 
 When incorporating into feed, care must be taken not to inhale any dust. It is recommended that a face mask be worn during the dispensing and mixing of the product.
 Avoid skin contact when handling this product. Wash hands and wash all exposed skin at the end of the operation.
 This product is not recommended for use with any other premix or oral medication.
 Curazole 5% Premix is a premix for medicated feed.
 
Recommended Withholding Period 
Pigs must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment or for 10 days thereafter. 
Pharmaceutical Precautions 
 

Keep out of reach of children.

 Store in a cool, dry place.
 Protect from light.
 Avoid contamination during use. 
 Close the container securely after use.
 Wash hands after use.
 FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY.
 The final meal mix should be used within one month of mixing.
